BREAKAGES
Although tough these units are NOT indestructible the inner tritium GTLS can break and if this happens it will stop glowing. So please understand that if you break the GTLS we will NOT give you a refund or a replacement. The tritium GTLS inside can be broken if dropped onto a hard surface or if the unit receives a hard blow. The outer polycarbonate case of the unit is tough and may not show signs of damage even though the unit has received a blow hard enough to cause damage.
COLOUR BRIGHTNESS – IMPORTANT TO READ
Different colours appear brighter than others, obviously bright sharp colours like green, yellow and white will look brighter than darker colours like red and purple and pink. Colours that contain Reds and Purples are a naturally duller colour. Please remember this when ordering. These units have been made only using a Green GTLS to keep a maximum light output behind the green outer tinted body.
To see the unit working you will have to view it at night or in a dark area, cupping your hands around it in daylight will not give you a very good first impression. Our eyes take a while to adjust from light to dark – to appreciate the unit you need (Night Eyes) by this we mean – when your eyes have adjusted to a dark area, this is normally after being in the dark for a minute or two.
These units make a very cost effective way to light a location.
The units emit a light for at least 10 years.
All units can be submersed underwater up to a depth of 30m.
