Brightness Guide
  • Brightness will appear different in certain colours, please remember this. Larger Self Luminous Light Sources will appear brighter than the same colour in smaller sizes. The list below is what we believe to be the order of brightness of these units. This is our own analysis and is to be used only as a guide.

  • If you are unsure what size Isotope you need, normally a quick internet search will tell you. If you are still unsure then you can measure it yourself with a ruler to be 100% certain. We will always try to answer any questions if we are able to and help make sure you choose the correct size.
Important Safety and Usage

Strength / breakage

Great care must be taken using self luminous light source products. The light source is made of glass and can break if handled carelessly. Although protected, it can break in the wrong situation. If the sealed glass vial is broken or breached, the unit will stop glowing. Breakage can happen and is not a quality fault. If a breach or breakage occurs while in your care, no refund or replacement will be provided. It is your responsibility to decide if the product is suitable for your intended use. No responsibility is accepted for breakages or breaches while in your care.

Lifespan

Continuously illuminated for more than 10 years. No battery, switch, charging, or ambient light/electrical supply is required.

Usage

Handle with care to avoid breakages. If broken, glass fragments may cause injury.

Liability

Use at your own risk. Not suitable for children. Self luminous light sources should not be utilised in products not intended for use in safety, outdoor sports (fishing) or transportation applications.
